A Lot to Lose

As a retiree, a wife, a mother and grandmother, I care about the town of Clinton, but I do not get involved in politics. However, this coming election has me stepping up and writing this letter. I think we have a lot to lose or gain this year, based on the new leadership we choose.

My vote will go to Christine Goupil for first selectman. Christine has proven to me she cares deeply about Clinton. While she is very reserved about talking of herself, I have learned she has had both the education and experience needed to make her the best new leader seeking election.

I’m voting for Christine Goupil Nov. 7.
