A Good Collaborator

We write to endorse Kate Gilstad-Hayden for the Westbrook Board of Finance.

We have known Kate for a number of years as a professional colleague, fellow volunteer, and a friend. She is hardworking, dependable, and a good collaborator. As a professional statistician, she is quick with numbers and thoroughly analytical. As a Westbrook taxpayer and mom, she cares about the town and its future. As treasurer of the Westbrook Land Conservation Trust, she is detailed-oriented and quietly does the work necessary to sustain a volunteer organization.

She separates fact from opinion, and issues from individuals. She listens and considers, respectful of differing opinions. She can disagree on an issue without being disagreeable. Kate will be a respected asset to the Westbrook Board of Finance.
