A Fiscally Responsible Steward

I am writing this letter to recommend Violet McNerney, Ed.D, as the Republican candidate for the Board of Education.

Violet has been an educator, a school psychologist, an administrator, and a leader during her more than 25 years in education. She holds a master’s degree in school psychology and a doctorate in education.

As a mother who has raised four children, Violet understands the importance of strong schools and a healthy educational environment. As a Madison resident for 20 years, she understands the fiscal challenges facing our taxpayers.

I have been married to Violet for nearly 30 years. I am confident she will be a tireless advocate for the children of Madison and a fiscally responsible steward for the taxpayers.

I respectfully encourage the voters of Madison to elect her to the Board of Education on Nov. 7.
