Election day is Nov. 7. Donna Nucci is a Democratic candidate for the Old Saybrook Board of Finance. Donna is a local businesswoman who will advocate for balanced government. Donna is a long-time Old Saybrook resident who cares about the shoreline. She raised four children here and understands the unique challenges and benefits of our idyllic community. Donna led a girl scout troop for years, teaching the next generation about the duty for public service.

As an entrepreneur and consultant, Donna exhibits a keen understanding of fiscal matters and data analysis. While many businesses have struggled, Donna managed to turn a profit in her first year. I encourage your readers to keep in mind when they vote that a balanced board will be better able to manage Old Saybrook’s finances. We, as taxpayers, deserve a responsible board capable of looking at all angles and working across the community to build a strong town.
