Succinct, Fair, and Poised

Allow me recommend Dr. Violet McNerney for a position on the Board of Education in this November’s election. I have known Violet and her wonderful family for well over 20 years. Violet and Tim raised their four children in Madison and they have been the beneficiaries of this outstanding system. Now, Violet would like to give back to the community and the school system that has always been there for her children.

Violet McNerney earned her doctorate degree in education and is employed as a school psychologist for a neighboring school system. With experience as a college adjunct, 1st grade teacher, and more than 25 years as a school psychologist, she is an ideal candidate to help guide our school system to continued excellence.

Violet’s experiences in education ensures that we will have yet another board member who understands that each student must be accounted for regardless of gender, race, learning issues, or socioeconomic status, and are given the resources to progress toward achieving their highest personal level of academic success. Violet is an extremely clear-thinking individual who presents herself in a succinct, fair, and poised manner and would be an asset to the Board of Education.

Violet McNerney has the utmost respect for our town’s tax dollars. With a doctorate in education, she has been educated in policy making and the art of numbers and can develop a fiscally sound budget that we can all be proud of and view as fair and necessary.

I encourage your readers to join me this November in voting for Dr. Violet McNerney for a position on the Madison Board of Education to give Violet the opportunity to give back to our town that she loves and the school system that gave her children the education that they required to succeed.
