Getting the Job Done

I am voting to re-elect Cathy Iino to first selectman because of her outstanding leadership qualities, her communication skills, and her accessibility.

As a leader, Cathy has dedicated many hours toward developing nonpartisan teamwork. As a former member of the Board of Finance, I have seen firsthand how she prepares a thoughtful and conservative town budget. She also keeps the town hall staff working together in resolving issues and getting the job done to the benefit of all of us in Killingworth.

Cathy Iino has made herself accessible at events in town, discussing issues and answering questions. Her “Coffee with the First Selectwoman” in such local businesses as the Copper Kitchen, Dunkin Donuts, and Cozy Corner Bake Shop have been a great way for the townspeople to talk directly with her. “Cathy’s Notes from the Town Hall” in the Killingworth Krier is another way for the people to read about the goings-on in Killingworth.

I recommend that we re-elect Cathy Iino to another term as first selectman. She has and will continue to serve us well.
