Getting It Done

This letter is written in support of Carl Fortuna for first selectman. I have known Carl for several years now and find his style of leadership to be appropriate for these difficult times.

While all Connecticut towns are losing state funds at a fast pace, we have still been able to receive grant funding from the state that has helped our quality of life in this town. We have re-built North Main Street with a grant, re-developed the old police station site, started dredging on our most important harbor (North Cove), and preserved The Preserve.

In difficult times, this is getting it done! I love this town and I believe we are in good hands with Carl as first selectman. I encourage your readers to cast their votes for him on Nov. 7.
