Commitment is Clearly Evident

Steve Pernal is a top-notch Democratic candidate for the Old Saybrook Parks & Recreation Commission. He has lived most of his life in Old Saybrook and is a graduate of Old Saybrook High School. He enjoys living in and being an active community member in our beautiful town. Steve has held many volunteer positions in Old Saybrook, having served on the Old Saybrook Little League Board, coached travel and Parks & Rec basketball teams, run summer athletic camps and clinics, and assisted with Parks & Rec programs like Pitch, Hit & Run and Hot Shots. In addition, he is actively involved in his church, presently serving as a CCD teacher. His commitment to our youth is clearly evident.

Steve is also a strong advocate for active lifestyles and lifetime fitness. He currently serves as a physical education teacher in East Haddam. He realizes the importance of sound, efficient programs that not only introduce children, but all residents to a variety of activities. He is committed to ensure that all Old Saybrook residents are empowered to lead healthy and active lifestyles. He wants the citizens here to have every opportunity to fully utilize all the many resources Old Saybrook has to offer.
