I have known Peter since he and his wife Taryn decided to move their family back to Connecticut from California. They wanted to come back to where Taryn grew up and they picked the jewel of the shoreline, Madison, to make their home.
Peter has been a banker for 35 years and has done extensive work with projections and budgets. Peter has a brilliant financial mind. He has this wonderful ability to explain sophisticated transactions and market situations in the simplest terms. In Peter’s role as a senior credit officer, he sees financial statements for a variety of companies and he has to evaluate how markets and the economy may affect these companies. On a daily basis, Peter analyzes balance sheets and financing options, and he understands the equity and debt markets. It is this type of expertise that makes Peter the right person to have on Madison’s finance committee.
Peter will help to guide the Town of Madison through this challenging time caused by the state budget situation. I encourage your readers to vote for Peter Roos for Board of Finance for the Town of Madison.
