As the only current selectman who is running for reelection, Charles Havrda will bring valuable experience and continuity to Guilford’s Board of Selectman. Charles Havrda has served Guilford as a selectman for eight years, with a voting record that shows a commitment to fiscal responsibility while also investing in Guilford’s future. Under his and his administration’s leadership, the town has achieved a AAA credit rating, bolstered our rainy day fund, and supported new businesses which broadened the tax base. Additionally, Charles Havrda invested in Guilford’s future by supporting the new high school, implementing the tax freeze for elderly residents, and extending the Whitfield Street sidewalk to Jacobs beach.

Charles Havrda has shown a commitment to Guilford and a deep respect for all its residents, and we encourage others to vote for him as we will.
