Have Not Let Us Down

Thanks to First Selectman Noel Bishop, Selectman John Hall, and the Board of Finance, Westbrook has weathered the financial storm that is devastating most other state towns and cities. Fortunately, our town only relied on around three percent of financing from the state.

Our elected town officials have not let us down by spending more than is taken in with taxes and other income sources. They have continuously kept a solid fund balance for use in case of emergencies, and have always presented a reasonable budget to vote on.

We need to keep a good thing going. That is why it is extremely important that all current office holders be re-elected again on Nov. 7. Every Westbrook citizen needs to vote and be Westbrook proud.
