Insightful and Reliable

It’s my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Kimberly Russo for a position on the Clinton Board of Education. I have known Kimberly for eight years. Our children became fast friends in kindergarten and as a result our families became friends, too. Since she is an educator, teaching in Madison, I have often run educational things past her for my own two sons. Her advice and perspective has always been insightful and reliable.

In her work in Madison, she has contributed to many efforts. She was part of a team that wrote the new 8th grade U.S. history curriculum; she worked on a superintendent-initiated enrichment committee examining a variety of curriculum options to meet the needs of all learners; she worked on a superintendent-initiated committee to research the use of student performance data in teacher evaluations and many other projects, as well. She has experience and industry knowledge. She is a team player and is able to provide thoughtful and critical input on important issues facing the students in today’s world.

Her experience as an educator is invaluable to the work she would do for us in Clinton. So, I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Kimberly on Nov. 7 for the Board of Education.
