Securing the Future

On Aug. 20, The Vietnam Veterans Chapter 484, Annarose Russo, and I hosted a “sponsor a classroom” event at our town beach house.

I would first like to thank The Vietnam Veterans Chapter 484 and Annarose for being so dedicated to our community and for whole heartedly taking on this task with me.

I would also like to thank everyone who came together to help us make this event a success. A very big thank you goes to the East Haven Rotary Club for its generous donation. All items donated will go directly to the elementary schools here in town.

We appreciate our community coming together and supporting our students and schools. This will be an annual event and we hope with each year we can make it an even bigger success. By supporting our students’ education and providing them with tools to learn and grow, we are securing the future of this town.

With that being said, I encourage your readers to do something today that their future self will thank them for.
