Active, Facilitative, and Productive

If it is not broken, don’t fix it.

I write in support of Cathy Iino’s candidacy for first selectman of Killingworth. The town has flourished during her four terms as first selectman and we are very fortunate that she is willing to serve another term. Our family has lived in town for 41 years and we have never seen another first selectman be so active, facilitative, and productive. In addition to her regular schedule, she voluntarily attends club and association meetings and events in town every week of the year. She listens intently. When she expresses herself, she does so with clarity, respect, and deep thoughtfulness.

Ms. Iino’s chief opponent, Fred Dudek, is a model citizen and has been a pillar of our community for many years. But in Ms. Iino we have someone so uniquely well qualified to serve that we would be foolish to change.
