An Amazing Role Model

My name is Rick Pinder and I am writing to encourage your readers to support my wife, Lynn Pinder, who is running in the primary election as a Democrat for first selectman. To say that Lynn has been an amazing role model to our three children and grandson is an understatement.

While raising her daughter, I watched Lynn earn a master’s degree and law degree and pass the Connecticut Bar Examination while working full time as a research scientist, coaching, and volunteering her time to local government and organizations.

She is now seated on the Board of Selectmen, is a partner in her own law firm, and she and I run our business, Pinder Construction Company; both businesses are located here in Clinton. Lynn is smart, tenacious, and incredibly strong-willed, but also compassionate and kind, dropping everything for friends or family in need. She is strong in her beliefs and opinions, but is quick to listen to and consider the ideas of others to work together toward solutions.

Lynn is dedicated to the Town of Clinton, sometimes at her own expense, and I believe that she is the only choice to lead the town that I grew up in. I encourage your readers to vote Row B on Sept. 12th for Lynn Pinder for first selectman.
