Fair, Thoughtful, and Qualified

Michael Smith is running for a seat on the Clinton Board of Finance. Mike represents something new in this town. He has no personal agenda; he is fair and thoughtful, and is qualified. I have known Mike for several years and have worked with him in several capacities in the community.

When he worked in the circulation department for the Record-Journal, his recognized value elevated him to circulation director at Sun Publishing Company and further advancement to his present position with the New Haven Register. His work ethic, determination, ability to manage through the problems that a seven-day newspaper operation presents, and ability to motivate his staff to rise to any occasion is admirable. As a professional Mike is responsible for crafting and justifying a multi-faceted budget and executing his financial plans accordingly.

His strength in financial management will make him a uniquely qualified representative on Clinton’s Board of Finance. Mike is trustworthy, extremely reliable, and a good family man. He is dedicated to his community and is a morally and ethically sound individual.

It is without reservation that I support Mike Smith for Board of Finance in the Town of Clinton. He will represent us with professionalism and be guided by a sound moral compass. I encourage your readers to join me in supporting Mike Smith.
