On July 17, I was driving home and saw a gentleman lying in a pool of blood and unresponsive on Kelsey Hill Road. His bicycle, wallet, and glasses were scattered alongside of him. Alone and nervous, I pulled over and called 911. It wasn’t long before a policeman arrived and shortly after that, the ambulance.
Watching these professionals work to save this man’s life was something that I will never, ever forget. I was thanked countless times for stopping and calling, but the thanks goes out to these Deep River angels. We are indeed blessed.
