Brighten the Day

June is the start of dog licensing season at the East Haven Town Clerk’s Office. While the citizens of our town are very good dog parents, it is at this time of the year we should remember those animals that are not fortunate enough yet to have forever homes.

In the spirit of giving, the Town Clerk’s Office, with the approval of the East Haven Animal Shelter, will be collecting donations. East Haven Animal Control Officer Owen Little suggests wet and dry cat/dog food, cat litter, soft treats, and bath towels—and of course monetary donations are welcome as well. Donations will be accepted starting Thursday, June 1 at the Town Clerk’s Office, 250 Main Street.

I encourage your readers to help us brighten the day of our four-legged friends at the East Haven Animal Shelter.
