Hunger in our Backyards

The volunteers of Feed Branford Kids thank Branford residents and nearby community shoppers for supporting our food drive at Stop & Shop on April 29.

Feed Branford Kids provides more than 200 week-end meals for grade school children through the academic year. Donors recognized their need for food and gave generously.

A child’s hunger is a sad reality. Yes—hunger lives in our backyards. These donations of food and monies have empowered us, the “Backpackers,” to continue our mission.
