Compassion for the Homeless

The East Haven Academy had a class, Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) during the month of March. Mrs. Meaghan Montabana, who is a physical education teacher, and other staff members spearheaded a project that included collecting toiletry items for the homeless. The Midnight Run ministry was the benefactor of their efforts. In total, 265 bags of toiletries with beautiful, inspirational notes from the children were assembled for the homeless.

I thank Mrs. Johnson, staff, students, and families very much for donating the toiletries to the Midnight Run. Without their compassion for the homeless, so many would be without the items that we take for granted every day. I appreciate them taking the time to care, pack, and include all the beautiful notes that were written. The notes of love and caring were absolutely amazing!

Again, I offer thanks for making a difference in these folks lives!
