Another Alternative

There is another alternative for planning in Madison. We can first move the library to the former Academy School. Academy can fulfill all the requirements a library needs, including car parking. The architecture and educational aspect of Academy is then preserved.

Then, we can offer some of Academy to the Shoreline Arts Alliance. This move would enhance and bring this area more into play for the center of town. Next, we could relocate the town offices to the library building. These offices should be in the center of downtown.

Finally, we could then sell off the existing town campus to cover some of the cost.
