Time to Give Back

I am writing to thank the North Haven Middle School community for donating toys to the Yale New Haven Toy Closet. I decided to organize the toy drive because I received toys from the toy closet myself, and I thought it was time to give back.

Principal Phillip Piazza deserves a big thank you for announcing the toy drive at school and online. The PTSA also helped by promoting the toy drive on its Facebook page. Mr. John Marr, my social studies teacher, let me store toys in his room until I could pick them up. We collected almost 200 toys and $100. The toys were dropped off at the Toy Closet during school vacation.

The North Haven Middle School is so generous and made a difference to lots of kids in the hospital.
