Supporting Clean UP

I would like to thank the East Haven Chamber of Commerce president, Jenn Higham, and the board of directors for their support of Clean UP East Haven. My community action group was the most recent recipient of the Chamber’s generosity. Their event raised more than $900 for Clean UP, which will not only fund our 2017 season, it will offer us the ability to help other groups in town. I would like to include thanks to Diane Romans from the East Haven Food Pantry. Winner of the 50/50 raffle, she split her proceeds between Clean UP and the Food Pantry, just one of her many selfless acts.

I need to also thank the business community for their years of financial support of Clean UP through the sponsor request I send out each January. This year is no exception with the faithful from the past join several new comers for 2017. I am touched by our community as a whole with all this support as well as that of the many volunteers that show up from April to September to make our town better.
