02/01/2017 07:00 AMThe Community Dining Room (CDR) wishes to extend its thanks to Karen Jensen, director of the Blackstone Library, and her staff for welcoming our first Be a Santa to a Senior Program. Together we were able to provide more than 100 gifts to home-bound seniors in the community and bring them a little extra cheer during the holiday season with the help and generosity of our Branford residents.
Much thanks goes to David DeLancy, owner of Home Instead in Guilford, and his staff for hosting this heartfelt program across the shoreline area for at least a decade! We look forward to participating again next season and for anyone in the community wishing to get involved call CDR at 203-488-9750 for a fulfilling opportunity.
