Literally Walks the Walk

Thank you for the great Person of the Week article about Chet Blomquist (Jan. 5,). Chet’s desire to share his love of nature and love of fitness with every person he meets have made him an institution in a Branford. He is as tireless in his advocacy for clean, accessible, outdoor recreation areas as he is in encouraging people to get outside and move.

He doesn’t just talk the talk, he literally “walks the walk” all around Branford (and brings a trash bag with him, to pick up what others have left behind). He’s a local treasure, and I’m so glad he gets a little recognition for it.
