Leave Our Sign Alone

It’s only been a little over a month and once again it looks like someone tried to steal our street sign, only this time they weren’t successful. It only got bent over.

I have lived on Princess Drive for 27 years and our sign goes missing a few times every year. In recent years it has become much more frequently. This costs the town money to replace it, and it takes time to replace it, so there is no street sign for weeks.

Maybe this time the town shouldn’t replace it, just try to bend it back up and with it still in bent condition. The thieves won’t bother stealing a banged up sign, but there at least will be a sign so people can find our street.

For under $20, the culprits can go on-line and order one, and leave our sign alone!
