Seemingly Bottomless Generosity

The 12th annual Be a Santa to a Senior community event has just completed its run for the 2016 Holiday Season here in the town of Guilford. This program is designed to collect donations of gifts for local Senior Citizens who may be in need of a little extra during the holidays, or may be alone at the holidays and in need of an extra visit.

Thanks to the generosity of this community, we at Home Instead Senior Care, in collaboration with local Guilford community volunteers, were able to coordinate the collection, gift wrapping, and delivery of holiday gifts to more than 223 deserving senior citizens in Guilford, and more than 921 gifts in total to seniors residing at home or in residential facilities in the five participating shoreline communities.

For the 12th year in a row, everyone who was on the list of recipients received a gift! We continue to be amazed and in deep gratitude of the seemingly bottomless generosity of this community. Thanks go to all for helping this project be a great success!
