A Serious Oversight

Recently driving south on Route 81 I noticed several students walking from the new million-dollar high school in the street—yes, walking along the edge of the road, partially in the roadway.

Are we going to wait until a student gets hit by a car, or will we do something smart and put sidewalks in before an incident? Preventive maintenance is easier to attend to than a funeral. No one thought of this?

I guess everyone was too busy taking credit for this project without thinking about safety, which is foremost and imperative. This is a serious oversight.
