Stop Stalling

How come it’s taking so long for Guilford’s Board of Selectmen to make a decision on the Shoreline Greenway Trail (SGT)? At the public meeting on Nov. 1, there was so much opposition—more than for it—that I feel that the decision should be made and not take any longer.

What could possibly remain to be made any clearer than what we’ve already presented to the selectmen? Why should it be such a hard decision—unless they’re hung up on the idea of free money? This plan is a disaster. It’s time to put a stop to the SGT in Guilford. The board should stop stalling and get it done!
