A Little Extra Warmth

On behalf of the Killingworth Republican Town Committee, I would like to thank the people of Killingworth and our friends in other towns who generously contributed their spare coats to our Winter Coat Drive, held Nov. 13 to 19. Through their amazing outpouring of support, we collected 75 coats, which is above and beyond all our expectations. We are happy to tell you that you all brought a little extra warmth to many people in need throughout Connecticut.

We would particularly like to thank Killingworth True Value for opening its doors to us and allowing us to use its premises for our coat drive. We will never know how many people will be appreciating that kind support this coming winter.

It is no small thing to say that it is Americans coming together and helping others in need like this is what brings Americans and the world its freedoms to begin with. Thanks go to one and all.
