Under Cover of Darkness

The Town of Guilford held an open forum this past week so that every member of the community who wished to state an opinion on the Shoreline Greenway Trail’s trail to nowhere on the eastern section of Route 1 was able to. Freedom of speech is a truly wonderful thing. How sad and disheartening when that is taken away by people who stole signs in opposition to that trail off lawns of homeowners and businesses under cover of darkness only days later!

I guess freedom of speech may not be as alive and well in the town of Guilford as we had thought. How sad.
