Passionate about Helping People

I am involved in several volunteer organizations and have had the pleasure of working with State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12) on different occasions. I have found State Senator Kennedy to be passionate about helping people, committed to positive results, and a man who definitely walks the talk. For example, he has supported Madison’s Alcohol, Drug, Education (MADE) coalition, of which I am chair, by taking the time to get involved with our youth to hear firsthand about the stresses, mental issues, as well as drug and alcohol issues that they face.

He met with them in Madison and at the State Capitol where he also gave them tours and taught them about the press conference process.

Additionally, he has shown an extraordinary commitment to children in treatment for cancer and their families by supporting the non-profit organization Circle of Care, of which I’m a former board member. He was instrumental in bringing a photo exhibit to the State Capitol as well as our Madison community and is always willing and eager to be available to speak and participate at events.

Ted continues to be an advocate for all in need and approaches every challenge with passion, dedication, and commitment. I am therefore very happy to support him for re-election to the State Senate.
