Mature, Experienced Representation

Clinton and the 33rd State Senate District need to have mature, experienced representation at the State Capitol. Although tax dollars are allocated throughout the state for transportation projects and infrastructure work, Clinton has not received its fair share. Madison has benefited enormously from infrastructure improvements and grants that show that experienced representatives with know-how make a difference. Why not Clinton?

Norm Needleman (D) is running for State Senate. He built Tower Labs from scratch with locations in Essex and Clinton and employs 150 workers who share in company profits. He has been first selectman in Essex for three terms and has kept property taxes and balanced budgets every year. He understands and pledges to simplify regulations for small business and create tax incentives to promote economic growth.

The last time Clinton received significant tax relief was when Tom Vicino, our state rep secured major relief through an $8 million grant for the Morgan School Project. It is time for Clinton and the 33rd Senate District to have an advocate in Hartford who will work with others for solutions. Norm Needleman has hands-on experience running a business and town government and will well represent the towns of the 33rd.
