A Positive Leader

I have gotten to know Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D) over the last 10 years and was excited to be able to vote for him two years ago for State Senate seat for the 12th Senate District. His energy, commitment to education, the less fortunate, the environment, and small businesses have all proven to be his strengths in this position.

As Ted campaigns again, it’s clear that during his last two years he has shown his skills as a great activist, listener and a leader. He has been instrumental in bringing over $3 million back to the towns of the 12th Senate District to find numerous projects. He has chaired the Senate Environment Committee that has been successful in passing dozens of bills in a bipartisan fashion that will protect our environment for the future.

Ted understands how important small businesses are to our local economy. He held the first Shoreline Economic Strategic Planning Summit where 150 business leaders came together to promote conversation and action that will support their businesses.

As a retired education, I respect Ted’s views on education reform and know he will be a positive leader while the state works to improve education for all of our children.

I encourage your readers to take a look at Ted’s website www.tedkennedyjr.com for more information and to learn more about why they should cast their votes for Ted Kennedy, Jr., on Nov. 8.
