Reaching Across the Aisle

What has impressed me most about State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12) is his ability to get things done with bipartisan support. During his time as Senate chair of the Environment Committee, almost every committee bill signed into law was passed with near-unanimous or unanimous bipartisan support. In these polarized political times, Ted’s record of successfully reaching across the aisle is admirable.

I was excited to hear that Ted was running two years ago. He has always been so pleasant and approachable, so I expected him to do well in Hartford. His accomplishments over his first term have strengthened my support for his re-election.

I know that we can count on him to support the needs of Branford residents and I feel comfortable turning to him for guidance in matters that come before the Representative Town Meeting.

Ted Kennedy, Jr. reinforces the value of collaboration and perseverance in this political climate.

Ted has my vote—again.
