Effective, Experienced, and Compassionate

There are many things that can be said in praise of State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12).

With his family name and support he could have launched his political career years ago. Instead he chose to pursue his passion for advocacy for health care and disability issues. He is eminently well prepared to continue to make his mark in the arena of public policy. He has just completed his first term as our state senator. He has the education, experience, and the deep knowledge of health care and disability issues to effectively and positively drive policy forward.

He has the temperament, personality and the compassion to listen to his constituents and translate our concerns to real progress. We are lucky to have someone as effective and experienced as Ted Kennedy.

As a Realtor, I heartily concur with the endorsement of Ted Kennedy by the Association of Connecticut REALTORS. More personally, my husband and I have met Ted on several occasions and have followed his progress during his first term.

We are proud to have him represent us in the State Senate. We are lucky to have someone so effective, experienced, and compassionate who is willing to make the sacrifices entailed in an elective position in a time fraught with such difficult issues.
