Diligence, Courage, and Dedication

I’m writing in support of Steve Gifford (D), candidate for the 87th District of the Connecticut House of Representatives.

Steve has the background, experience, and ability to be an outstanding representative, a leader who will advocate tirelessly for the best interests of the people of North Haven, and the citizens of the State of Connecticut.

As a veteran, Steve Gifford served his country with courage as a decorated combat officer (captain) in the United States Army in Iraq. As a husband and father he serves his family with nurturing and love. As a small businessman, he serves his employees and clients with tireless effort, financial responsibility, and personal integrity. As a resident of North Haven, Steve has been an important contributor to the town as a member of the Economic Development Commission. As an academician, Steve has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Alabama, Northeastern University, and the University of Connecticut and is currently serving as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University.

With these special abilities and qualities of character, Steve Gifford, no doubt, can be relied upon to serve the people of North Haven with unmatched success.

As a personal friend, I know Steve to be a caring, sensitive person as well as a tireless worker. Steve would serve all the people of North Haven with diligence, courage, and dedication, always putting principle before party and people before self-interest.
