Reasonable, Responsible, and Dedicated

A big part of what makes our corner of the world a special place to live and raise a family are the high quality public schools in Chester, Deep River, and Essex that serve our kids. Great public schools are a reflection of talented teachers and administrators, committed families, and most important, hardworking students.

It is not a coincidence that great public schools often exist in communities with reasonable, responsible, and dedicated public officials.

We have been very fortunate to have 33rd State Senate District candidate and Essex First Selectman Norm Needleman (D) and State Representative Phil Miller (D-36) playing such an important role in our communities over the past several years. As our first selectman and state representative, Norm and Phil have been effective advocates for our public schools, locally and in Hartford. They understand the balance between investing in our schools while being the stewards of the resources entrusted to them by the taxpayers.

In an election season with so much nonsense and so many distractions, it is refreshing to have the opportunity to vote for two outstanding local candidates in Norm Needleman and Phil Miller, who are ready and able to serve us in Hartford.
