Patience and Humility

I would like to thank Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12) for his outstanding public service as our state senator and his willingness to serve our community for another two years. He has worked effectively and tirelessly to address the many challenges we face, including restoring the state’s fiscal health, creating a more attractive business environment, protecting our treasured natural resources, and providing quality health care and education on a cost effective basis.

The list of his accomplishments in these areas is too long to enumerate, but let it be noted that they are the result of hard work, an appreciation that we are dealing with complex issues, a collaborative bipartisanship that requires a lot of give and take, and, most of all, a rare patience and humility that I have personally witnessed in several of the “open office hours” community meetings he has regularly hosted across our district.
