Experience, Knowledge, and Passion

It is with pride that I am submitting this letter in support of State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12)’s re-election to the Connecticut Senate. Senator Kennedy has been a tireless promoter of issues important to us such as healthcare costs, education, the handicapped, our environment, transportation, and keeping jobs in Connecticut.

Sen. Kennedy assisted the 9-Town District’s proposed bus route from Madison to Clinton along Route 1 and through Clinton, Killingworth, and Haddam along Route 81 to Middletown. As Killingworth’s representative, I worked closely with Sen. Kennedy regarding this effort. Sen. Kennedy met with us, worked with Republican counterparts, and followed up with the Connecticut Department of Transportation in support of this initiative. The culmination of all our efforts was the granting of a federal grant that will provide Killingworth our first public bus.

At Killingworth’s meetings with Sen. Kennedy, he listened to all the citizen’s concerns, asked for suggestions, and sent follow-up materials regarding issues of our concerns.

Sen. Kennedy has the experience, the knowledge, and the passion to do what is best for us and the State of Connecticut. He is the best candidate to represent us in our State Senate.
