No More Letters

I just got back from a doctor’s visit. I was able to walk there because I live at East Farm Village. I didn’t have to ask my son or daughter to take me. Getting to the point, I have to say I am so happy that the former high school is finally going to be a senior housing.

Now the seniors who will be living there will be independent and, with help from caretakers (if needed), can go to the Senior Center, doctor’s offices, bank, library, etc., or can go themselves.

I, being 85 years young, can still do these things. I can because I came to East Farm Village 30 years ago and walked to these places.

I have been waiting for this good news for so long. I don’t know if I will see it, but who knows—I might.

For the people who didn’t want this to happen, and also had family living here—some still living here—I suggest they get over it and feel good for the seniors who need homes.

Now I don’t have to write any more letters in favor of it being for seniors.
