I would like to respectfully extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to East Haven Stop & Shop employees and management and everyone who stepped forward and stopped to donate freely of themselves and their time to my latest food drive to benefit the East Haven Food Pantry and the The Michael “Diesel” DeAngelo athletic scholarship fund.

Thanks to their efforts, we, together in challenging economic times, raised $128 for the East Haven Food Pantry and a full carriage of food to help our neighbors in need. In addition another $60 for The Michael “Diesel” DeAngelo athletic scholarship fund was raised, bringing that total to $220 raised to support the scholarship over the last two drives, and once again proving that when we come together as a community working for the right reasons, good things can and do happen.
