A Lovely Memorial

I extend my heartfelt thanks to whoever arranged the flag display in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001 on the Town Green in Old Saybrook this past weekend. It was a lovely memorial and I really enjoyed seeing all the visitors come to view it. The Town Green seemed quiet and empty yesterday afternoon after the flags had been removed.

I close with this portion of the Baha’i Prayer for America: “This American nation is worthy of Thy favors and is deserving of Thy mercy.”
