Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The theme of the 2016 Guilford Fair Day Parade is ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors.’ In keeping with that theme, the 4th grade students of Guilford Lakes School will be collecting food donations for the Guilford Food Bank.

We invite your readers to bring a non-perishable food item to the parade. As the Guilford Lakes School 4th grade float passes by, donors can simply hold up their donation and one of the volunteers will be happy to collect it for them. The current needs of the pantry include: coffee, 100 percent juice, Jell-O, pudding, SPAM, applesauce, canned fruit, and cooking oil.

We thank donors for being a part of what makes this town so special! We hope to see everyone on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Guilford Fair Day Parade.
