Clinton Gives

Every year now for longer than I can remember, the local business leaders in Clinton and nearby communities have kindly, graciously, and sincerely donated gift certificates to the silent auction at the Clinton Summer Fair held by the First Church of Christ in Clinton.

This silent auction is now famous—visitors and locals come by year after year to outbid each other in the name of giving. They know to look for amazing donations from local restaurants, attractions, service stores, and of merchandise donated by favorites and the newest businesses in town.

So many times, these businesses’ extreme generosity is overlooked. I encourage your readers to show them how much we value them being a part of our greater community. Clinton gives. We support one another to make our town a place we can be proud to call home and proud to call community. I thank all the local businesses that made this year, and many more, such a success in the work we do help our neighbors.
