Wonderful Community Support

During the weekend of July 29, I built a bocce court at the Westbrook Town Hall for my Eagle Project requirement. My project was a complete success and went extremely well primarily due to some wonderful community support.

I would like to publicly thank the following for their monetary donations, time, materials, and equipment: The Westbrook Foundation, Westbrook Public Works, Indian River Enterprises, Tuxis Lumber, David and Nathan Bugbee, Master Steven Voelker from Middlesex Tang Soo Do, Westbrook Block, Haynes Construction, G. Madore Landscaping, and Selectman Noel Bishop. I would also like to offer my extreme thanks to all of my fellow boy scouts and leaders from Troop 7, Joey Thomas from Troop 38, and my family members who came from near and far. If I missed anyone I deeply apologize.

Doing this project has taught me so much, especially that there are so many wonderful people not just in my town of Westbrook, but from all over who would come together to assist a scout to reach their goal.
