A Note of Thanks to Sugar Bakery in East Haven:

My daughter has been undergoing chemotherapy for an autoimmune disorder since last September. She has an infusion every four weeks, which leaves her exhausted, feverish, and nauseous for days.

After every treatment we stop into Sugar Bakery for a special “post-hospital” cupcake. It is the highlight of this awful process for her. Everyone at the bakery has shown such kindness and compassion and “treated” her to a cupcake ever since they found out about her illness.
