Have Touched our Lives

Thank you from the family of Donna Mourt Herassme: Ralph, Christopher, Ryan, Joelle, and Jim Mourt. On May 5, Donna passed away suddenly; to say this was a shock would be an understatement. That night, we lost a wife, mom, and daughter.

For 53 years, North Branford has been a special place for my husband and me. Both our children were raised and educated here. We were completely overwhelmed by the love and support that has been shown to our family. I wish it were possible to thank each and every one personally. However, there were so many that have touched our lives, I wouldn’t know where to begin.

Please know we are grateful to everyone. I especially appreciate the way the community wrapped their arms around Christopher, Ryan, and Joelle. The love shown to them from not only the school system, but also from complete strangers, was beyond belief. It is a comfort knowing that so many will be watching out for them as they grow up. Our heartfelt thanks go to each one of them—they have touched our lives deeply.
