Struggled, But Hung in There

Chester Center is open again. We can now drive and walk from one end of Main Street to the other, and park in the center of town.

A hearty “Well done” goes to all the workers who were on the job weekends, nights, in the coldest weather, and in the rain.

It is understandable that many former Chester patrons chose not to contend with the inconveniences and frequented alternative locations during the construction. The merchants struggled, but hung in there.

What I want so much at this time is to hear from all former patrons a loud and resounding “We’re b-a-a-c-k!”
