Building and Strengthening Relationships

I want to thank everyone who came down to our DARE fundraiser at the East Haven Chili’s on April 7 to support the East Haven DARE Program. It was a great turnout and we raised $200 for DARE.

A big thanks goes to our East Haven Chili’s and to those of your readers who attended. It was nice to see everyone there to support this great program for our children. Daren the DARE lion and I walked around, greeted everyone, and handed out special gift bags to the children. The gifts were compliments of Chili’s, Consiglio Fence & Construction LLC, and East Haven DARE.

I want to thank my friend Jeff Gonzalez for volunteering to wear the lion costume again this year. He did a great job once again. Jeff really enjoys wearing the lion costume to entertain the kids. We both enjoyed interacting with all the kids and their families.

Building and strengthening relationships with the children is a big part of my job that I absolutely love. As always, I am happy to have the positive influences on the kids in our East Haven community. Thanks go again to everyone for their support!
